I had no idea how much work starting a company would be. I think the hardest part is trying to find suppliers. Plus, I am a perfectionist, so that adds extra time right there. The hardest part for me has been the spending money. I mean I am good at spending money, but I am trying to do this right and to stick with a budget. I just had no idea how hard forecasting would be. My numbers made sense when I did them, but I didn't take into account mini. orders from suppliers.
I'd love to have samples of some of the products to show people, but the problem is that I need to order so many of an item at a time. What if that doesn't sell? I don't want to be stuck with extra inventory. Hubby thinks I should just add the stuff to the catalogue and place orders based on what people want. I agree, it's a great idea, but that still doesn't help with the min. order amount. I mean so one person buys it; I am still left with the extras. UG!! Part of it is a fear of failing and part is a fear of the unknown. I'm over thinking things. Add to that the pressure of Hubby who already thinks it is a lost cause and I am left sabotaging myself before I've even begun. How do I close my eyes and leap into that world of faith?

I found your site just this evening through the links on Furious Seasons, which I found one night during a Midsummer Manic Meltdown--I am a Bipolar 2 having been diagnosed for 3 years. I'm much older you - have three kids all a decade apart, with the youngest now age 15 (help!). I have just started a blog so it is still very minimal. Both funny and sad, but that's what you get with a BP. I look forward to reading more of your life here in yours--It's a good blog. I will check out your reading recommendations as well.
